In keeping with Sneha Mandir's overall objective of community development & integration with surrounding environment, initiatives have been taken in areas of Education & Health. All the schemes are designed towards helping the economically & socially challenged communities.

  • Late Smt Sharada V Kamat Medical Camp:

    Sneha Mandir Community Health Care

    Since 1993, a medical camp is held under aegis of Late Smt Sharada V Kamat Medical Camp, once a year for thorough check up of each and every residents of Sneha Mandir. The camp is conducted by prestigious institutions like Manipal Hospitals, Goa. It includes general check up, Microbiology & Pathological tests and Cardio tests among other tests.

  • Late Shri L. D. Samant Memorial Eye camp :

    Sneha Mandir Community Health Care

    In view of serving senior citizens who live in & around Sneha Mandir, in 1995, Late Shri LD Samant Memorial Eye camp was initiated. The camp provides free medical care for eye ailments of poor & needy senior citizens. Seeing the effectiveness of the camp, it has now been expanded to include residents from rest of Goa. Typically senior citizens attending the camp get eye check up, Medical treatment for minor eye ailments, spectacles, pre-operational pathological investigations & cataract implant operation. Every year more than 150 patients benefit from this camp.

    From 2018, free eye ailment surgeries costing upto Rs 10,000 for needy patients has been initiated for upto 5 senior citizens per year under Sneha Mandir aegis.

  • Shri Vasudeo Vasantrao Shenvi Dempo Mobile Clinic & Ambulance Service:

    Sneha Mandir Community Health Care

    Taking into consideration the poor health care infrastructure available in & around Sneha Mandir, as a part of Silver jubilee celebrations, Sneha Mandir initiated free mobile clinic in 2006. This mobile clinic visits villages in Ponda area & provides free medical care including medicines to needy villagers. Every village is visited at least 3 times per month with qualified Doctor in attendance. The ambulance is also used as an emergency vehicle to transport patients from Sneha Mandir as also nearby villages to hospitals at Ponda, Margao Panaji & Bambolim for necessary treatment free of cost
