The foremost thought in minds of the founders of Sneha Mandir was to provide a dignified life along with shelter & succor to senior citizens. To achieve this objective certain standards have been laid for the residents of Sneha Mandir. These standards are achieved though following norms

Sneha Mandir Admission

Any person who has completed sixty years of age and certified to be physically and mentally sound by a Physician nominated by Managing Committee is eligible to apply for admission to Sneha Mandir. The age limit can be relaxed in exceptional cases with the approval of Managing

Committee:

Application for admission should be submitted in the prescribed form duly endorsed by a relative with recommendation of a responsible citizen.

After a thorough scrutiny and interview by Screening Body and after completing mandatory admission formalities, the person is admitted. Management reserves the right of admission and the decision of the management shall be final.

On admission person will have to pay the following amounts:-

A non refundable fee of Rs5,000/- towards Reserve Fund.

An interest free deposit amount of Rs10,000/- which will be refunded to the member / nominee / legatee / assignee at the time of leaving the institution after adjusting if any.

Monthly fee of Rs 3,500/- for fees as fixed by the Management from time to time towards expenses for food and other services, should be paid in advance before 7th of every month at Bandora Office.

All other personal expenses shall be borne by the Resident member.

All the admissions are usually done at Mumbai or Margao-Goa offices. In case of emergencies Administrative Officer at Bondora-Goa can admit a personal following the same procedure and then inform Jt. Hon Secretary.

Sayantara – Admission

Any person who is in a declining state of health due to advanced age, bedridden, infirm is admitted to Sayantara on the recommendation of panel Doctor. In exceptional cases persons below sixty years are also admitted at the discretion of Managing Committee.

Application for admission should be submitted in the prescribed form duly endorsed by a relative and recommended by a responsible citizen.

After a thorough scrutiny and interview of the person or relative by Screening Body and after completing mandatory admission formalities, the person is admitted. Management reserves the right of admission and the decision of the Management shall be final.

Sayantara is only a service centre and not a full-fledged hospital and hence individuals suffering from Tuberculosis, heart ailments, Cancer and kidney ailments etc. are not admitted.

On admission person shall pay the following amounts:-

A non refundable fee of Rs1,000/- towards Reserve fund.

An interest free deposit amount of Rs10,000/- which will be refunded to the member / nominee / legatee/ assignee at the time of leaving the institution or expiry after adjusting the dues, if any. Admission fee and deposit payments are to be made at Mumbai or Margao office.

Monthly fee of Rs 6,500/- for fees as fixed by the management from time to time towards expenses for food and other services, should be paid in advance before 7th of every month at Bandora office.

All other personal expenses shall be borne by the Resident member.
